This is the way that the Virtual Tour de France will work:

• Each school day between 1st June and  29th June represents a stage of the 2009 Tour de France.

• Points are awarded based on the percentage of children cycling to school as follows:

1st	12 points
2nd	10 points
3rd	9 points
4th	8 points
5th	7 points
6th	6 points
7th	5 points
8th	4 points
9th	3 points
10th	2 points
11th	1 point

• Some days represent mountain stages and are worth double points. the last day is worth triple points.

• The school with the highest number of points at the end of the race is the winner and will win the main prize .

• The school who scores the most points each week will be School Of The Week and will win a prize.
